Ladies In Action Scholarships

Home   About  Us Scholarship Debutante/Beautillion Golf Tournament Memberhsip   Each year Ladies In Action gives scholarships to graduating high school seniors and current college students who meet the criteria.  LIA gives scholarships in increments of $500 to $1000 and book awards of $250 annually.  The Scholarship Banquet will be held June 18, 2011, at the Maiden Recreation Center, Maiden, NC.  See a member for tickets. Criteria: Applicants must be under the age of 25. Applicants must have been accepted to a College or University or must be enrolled full-time in a College or University. Graduating high school seniors must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 Undergraduate college students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 Graduate college students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 Scholarships should be postmarked by 6/3/11.  New Applicants are those who are current high school seniors and will be entering college in the Fall, or are college students applying for this scholarship for the first time. Re-applying Applicants are those who applied for the scholarship in the prior years and would like to apply for the scholarship again. If you would like to make a donation to our scholarship fund, mail your check or money order to "Ladies In Action" at PO Box 678, Maiden, NC 28650.  Include an address your receipt should be mailed to.  All donations are tax deductible.  Thank You.
